Global Genders and Sexualities

The Pandemic Series is a digital narrative series that explores LGBTIQ narratives of/from Northeast India at the backdrop of the pandemic told through words, photos, sketches, paintings, etc. The stories cut across intersectional marginalities of gender, race, sexuality, region, class, ethnicity, etc. The stories also unravel not just the ways in which the pandemic has impacted LGBTIQ lives but also how they are thriving. The Pandemic Series: A Covid 19 Archive of Northeast India, curated by Kumam Davidson is supported by Solidarity and Action Against The HIV Infection in India (SAATHII) Fellowship 2020-21 and Orfalea Centre for Global and International Studies, University of California, Santa Barbara research grant awarded to the curator. Find more at The Chinky Homo Project – Pandemic Series.
